NFL star George Kittle has officially joined the long list of people who have met Taylor Swift and walked away absolutely blown away.
In a candid, joy-filled interview on FanDuel Sports Network with Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr., the 49ers tight end opened up about his time with Swift at Tight End University — and his stories are melting fans everywhere.
“Taylor Swift is cooler than you actually think she is.”
That was Kittle’s very first sentence.
And he meant every word of it.
He admitted he was nervous at first — “She’s really, REALLY famous,” he said — but all of his expectations vanished the moment she opened her mouth.
“She couldn’t be kinder. Couldn’t be more genuine.”
According to Kittle, Swift spent nearly an hour chatting with his mom and mother-in-law, treating them like old friends, laughing, listening, and asking questions.
No ego. No diva behavior. Just warmth.
But the moment that will live in Kittle’s head forever?
It happened late at night on Broadway in Nashville.
🌟 George Kittle & Taylor Swift Singing ‘Love Story’… Together
Kittle recounted the now-legendary moment with the excitement of a teenager meeting his idol:
“One minute I’m grabbing drinks — one for my wife, one for Taylor — and then Love Story comes on. My favorite Taylor Swift song. And I know every. single. word.”
Instead of laughing it off, Swift jumped right into the duet with him.
“She went for it with me,” Kittle said, still sounding starstruck.
“I was living out so many dreams right there. It was incredible. I’ll never forget it.”
🏈🎶 Swift at TEU: The Weekend Everyone Still Talks About
Kittle co-founded Tight End University with Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce — Swift’s fiancé — as a way to bring past and present NFL tight ends together for a charity-filled weekend of drills, bonding, and community.
When Swift showed up in Nashville for TEU this July, players, coaches, and alumni lost their minds — in the best way.
Not only did she hang out, talk to families, and support Kelce,
she even surprised the entire group with a private performance.
Witnesses say she “brought the house down” like it was a secret Eras Tour date.
Kittle summed it up perfectly:
