The 31-year-old chef revealed the twist of fate in an emotional TikTok, after fans flooded his messages telling him they’d spotted him in The End of an Era.
“I still can’t believe this,” Khanh admitted, visibly overwhelmed. “I got scammed at that concert. Four thousand dollars — gone. The tickets weren’t even real. I had to buy new ones.”
But then came the plot twist no one expected.
Despite the painful loss, Khanh ended up appearing in crowd footage filmed at one of Swift’s Australian Eras Tour shows — officially immortalised in the Disney+ series.
“And now I’m in the documentary,” he said, fighting back tears. “I honestly don’t know how to feel. This somehow makes it all worth it.”
The final two episodes of The End of an Era dropped early on Disney+, delivering fans an intimate backstage look at Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour — including her relationship with Travis Kelce, lightning-fast costume changes, and unforgettable on-stage moments alongside stars like Sabrina Carpenter.
For Khanh, it was a full-circle moment: from being scammed by a fake seller to becoming part of pop-culture history.
Sometimes, the universe really does clap back.
