The last thing the Green Bay Packers needed.

The Green Bay Packers have already received the worst-case scenario injury update on superstar linebacker Micah Parsons.
Late in the fourth quarter of Sundayâs game against the
Denver Broncos, Micah Parsons suffered a serious-looking injury on a non-contact play. Parsons had to leave the game and did not return.
Unfortunately, it didnât take long for Parsonsâ worst fears to come true.

Per Pro Football Talkâs Josh Alper, the Packers fear that Micah Parsons tore his ACL. That would be a season-ending injury for the MVP of their star-studded defense:
âParsons left Sundayâs game in Denver with a non-contact injury to his left knee and a league source tells PFT that the Packers believe Parsons suffered a torn ACL. An MRI will be done to confirm that diagnosis.â
Jordan Love and the Packers fell out of first place in the NFC North with a 34-26 loss to the Broncos. The Chicago Bears reclaimed the top spot with a blowout victory over the
Green Bay and Chicago meet again at Soldier Field next Saturday. That game will likely determine the winner of the NFC North.
Giants Sign Jaxson Dartâs Old College Weapon and a Resilient Veteran LB to Complete Practice Squad

East Rutherford, NJ â The New York Giants have finalized their 16-man practice squad, adding two intriguing names: wide receiver Juice Wells Jr. and linebacker Jonas Griffith, each carrying a unique story and purpose.
Wells Jr. reunites with quarterback Jaxson Dart, his former Ole Miss teammate, bringing instant chemistry to New Yorkâs offense. The pair once formed a dangerous SEC connection â something Giants coaches hope to revive in the NFL.
After going undrafted in 2025, Wells signed with the Giants on a deal including $259,000 guaranteed, signaling strong confidence in his potential. During preseason, he caught six of seven targets
for 24 yards, showing smooth hands and discipline.
Griffith, standing 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, offers veteran toughness. Originally signed by the 49ers in 2020, heâs taken a winding road through the league, spending time with
the Colts, 49ers, and most notably the Broncos.
Across 22 career games with Denver â including 12 starts â Griffith totaled 92 tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery
, building a reputation as a hard-hitting, assignment-sound linebacker before injuries halted his rise.
A torn ACL in 2023, followed by another procedure in 2024, sidelined him for two full seasons. Yet through endless rehab, Griffith never lost faith, determined to reclaim his place on the field.
His persistence paid off last month when he impressed during a workout with the Giants, earning another NFL opportunity. Coaches praised his leadership and mental toughness â qualities the team values deeply.
For head coach Brian Daboll, both additions represent the Giantsâ core philosophy: young talent fueled by resilience. Wells brings spark and timing with Dart; Griffith brings heart and grit from battles both physical and personal.
With the Giants preparing to face Denver this weekend, the signing feels symbolic. Griffith now returns to the team that once released him â but this time, heâs wearing Big Blue
, ready to prove he still belongs.
