Philadelphia felt the pain — and Jason Kelce felt it too.

After the Eagles’ crushing Monday night loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 8, the franchise legend delivered one of the most raw reactions imaginable. The retired All-Pro center summed up the heartbreak on X with just three letters:

“Fml.”

That’s it. No long statement. No analysis. Just pure, unfiltered agony from a man who once anchored one of the most feared offensive lines in football.

As the Eagles slid to 8–5 on the season and suffered their third straight loss, frustration spilled over onto the national broadcast. ESPN’s Joe Buck dropped a stunner during the game, openly floating the idea of dragging Kelce out of retirement to fix the team’s battered offensive line.

“Maybe the Eagles, with these banged-up interior linemen, could call on our friend — old 38-year-old Jason Kelce,” Buck said on air.

Troy Aikman didn’t hesitate to agree.

“I’d be knocking on his door every week trying to get him back,” the Hall of Fame quarterback said. “He can still do it.”

Buck quickly added that Philadelphia recently brought back Brandon Graham at 37 — only fueling the wild comeback speculation.

But reality hit fast.

Fans pointed out that Kelce has dropped significant weight since retiring in March 2024, transforming from NFL bruiser to lean broadcasting star. A comeback, most agreed, would be more legend than logic.

The Eagles’ collapse has felt shocking considering they entered the season as reigning Super Bowl champions with sky-high expectations. Instead, they’ve now lost to:

Head coach Nick Sirianni tried to steady the ship after the game:
