Jason Kelce may be retired from the NFL, but slowing down? Thatâs not on his to-do list.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center, who officially stepped away from football in 2024, is entering 2026 with a fresh mindset â one built on balance, family, and enjoying life beyond the yellow goalposts.
âFootball was my life for 13 years,â Kelce tells Page Six Style. âIt still is in many ways. But now, the possibilities for what comes next feel endless.â

New Goals, Same Kelce Energy
These days, Kelce is learning how to redirect his competitive edge â swapping Sunday battles for golf swings, cooking experiments, and family adventures. Improving his game on the course is high on his list, along with sharpening his skills in the kitchen and cutting back on processed foods.
That said, one resolution is absolutely not happening.
âDry January is out of the question,â Kelce admits with a grin.
Instead, heâs opting for moderation â lightening things up with Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine and club soda, as part of his partnership with the Tennessee-based distillery.
Beard Care Is Serious Business
If thereâs one thing Kelce still treats like game prep, itâs his iconic beard.
âA great beard doesnât just happen,â he says. âIt takes upkeep â and the right tools.â
From trimming to grooming, Kelce has embraced self-care in full dad-legend mode, alongside another surprising goal: finally keeping the house tidy.
âIâm more of a âpush the dirt under the rugâ guy,â he jokes. âBut thatâs changing.â
Family Comes First
Above everything else, Kelce says his biggest priority in this new chapter is family. With football no longer dictating his schedule, heâs determined to be present for every possible moment with wife Kylie Kelce and their four daughters.
âBedtime stories, tea parties, date nights, dad jokes â all of it,â he says.
âNow that Iâm retired, I want to be there for as many special moments as I can.â
No pads. No pressure. Just purpose.
And maybe a well-groomed beard to go with it.
